The plants thrive all year around. The botanical conservatory has 25,000 of square feet of indoor green house that raises 1,200 plants including 72 types of cacti.
The children will enjoy Fort Wayne’s children’s zoo. The children’s zoo houses 1,000 animals from many places like Africa, Australia, and Indonesian Rain Forest. Children will enjoy visiting Monkey Island and Sea Lion Beach.
The museums have sculptures and paintings from around the world. See the American cut glass and Indiana impressionism.
Finally, stroll Lakeside Park & Rose Garden. In addition to the rose garden, there are fishing ponds, tennis and basketball courts.
